Mine was lovely. It was nice to have the day off. We dyed Easter eggs and I realized I am a horrible artist. My Hubs cooked up a London Broil (just like my Grandpa Leo's!!!) and mashed potatoes and it was all super yummy! We made sandwiches that had grilled peppers and onions on top (I am seriously drooling now). My MIL came over for dinner too since FIL was out of town visiting my SIL. We watched hockey and just hung out.
Today, a friend of mine invited me to a running group tonight. I was a little hesitant because I haven't run in a million years (ok, since about September). It is a 3 mile run or walk so I said "Why not?!". I had to warn my friend that I run really slow. Ha. She said she does too.
Uh yeah, whatever! She was done like 10 or 15 minutes before me, hahahaha. I am proud of myself though. I ran the first mile, walked the second and ran the third.
I want to do this every Thursday and maybe a few other days too. It is something that I don't enjoy but tolerate more than the gym. Plus, I want to have that sleek runner's body! :) I used to run before I got married and it really does change your body. It is fun trying to get faster running times too!
I have really wanted to change my hair for a little while now but didn't know what to do.

A couple of days ago at work, I was complaining about my hair length. When you are working, you have to wear your hair up in a ponytail or bun or whatever. I can't stand doing this! The only way to wear it down is if it is above your shoulders. Soooo, I scheduled a hair appointment.

It is angled a little bit and just slightly above my shoulders. Love it!!! I got about 10 1/2 inches cut off that was donated to Locks of Love. :)

Last night, we went over to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Bolts in the playoffs. They were playing against Pittsburgh and we hate the Penguins!!! And we won, wooooohoooo. 5-1 baby!

Last week, when I was off, 3 different employees (one who gave her notice a few days later) were given Clarisonic Mias. The thing I have wanted forever. It cleans your face so well and really gets deep into your pore to get that gunk out.
I was so disappointed... I did so well during presell and gift. And got nothing for it. So, I said something to my manager. She told me if I sold 8 Clarisonics this month, I could have one. This is pretty much impossible. I could probably sell 3 or 4. People don't want to shell out that amount of money everyday.
Well, guess what? Today I sold 7. To ONE PERSON. An employee at our store. Oh and 3 different replacement brushes. That just means I need to sell one more and I can have my Mia!!!!!
I emailed my manager to let her know and she basically said it didn't count. Um... yes... it does! I am so mad and disappointed. She told me we will have to see how many I can sell to actual customers.
How mean is that?! A sale is a sale in my book. sigh.

I was considering getting the notebook and pen because I really wanted to start journaling. I know I blog, but a lot of the stuff going on right now, I just don't want everyone to read. It is personal and I'm just dealing with my own inner turmoil. It is Debbie Downer kind of material, ha!
I ended up not getting the notebook ($9) and pen ($20) because it was a little pricey. I'm broke right now. Sucks...
Guess what though? My amazing manager bought the notebook for me. How sweet is that? I started journaling today for the first time in a while and I have to say, it really makes you feel better!

First thing in the morning on April 29th, an announcement from the Queen's office with William and Kate's new titles.
8:30 am Guests arrive at Westminster Abbey
10 am VIP Guests arrive (Hi Posh Spice!!!)
10:40 am The Royal Family arrive with the Queen and King coming in last.
11 am Kate arrives with her 5 bridesmaids! Also, at this point, a press release will announce the designer of her dress, sketches, photos, etc. The wedding ceremony starts.
12:15 pm The wedding party arrive at Buckingham Palace for photos and a reception with over 600 guests.
7 pm An intimate party with dinner and dancing for 300 guests.
I wish I could go... :( Anyone got any royal family hookups?
And I am really excited to see Kate's dress! I wonder what kind of style she is going to go for? And what are her bridesmaids going to wear?
Does anyone think it is weird William isn't going to wear a ring? If my Husband told me he didn't want to wear his ring, I'd be mad! Whatev though.
Ooooh, and what do you think of Kate's ring? I believe it was Diana's so it is even more special. I think it is so beautiful and such a sweet sentiment to give her his Mom's ring.

I'm loving my new cellphone case from Lily Pulitzer. Isn't it adorable? The orange flowers are actually shells and in the middle is a starfish. I love Lily!
I'm loving Clinique Cream Shadow in Sparkling Nude. It is a really pretty, neutral color. It also has a little bit of shimmer. I like to wear it underneath my powder shadows because it helps enhance the colors and keep them in place. The wand applicator also makes it really fast to apply. Oh and did I mention this was one of Oprah's Favorite Things a few years ago? I looooove Oprah!
I'm loving that the weather is getting a wee bit warmer each day. I'm tired of freezing my butt off!!!

I'm loving American Idol. This season is hilarious with Steven Tyler... and I actually dig JLo. She isn't as diva-esque as I thought. My favorite contestants are Casey, Lauren, Pia and James. Everyone is so good each week... I don't know who is going to win!

I have had a little bit of writer's block lately... sorry!
Today was my weigh in and after getting really off track, I am down 9.6 lbs. Just a little bit more and I will finally hit my first goal of 10 lbs. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.
Gus, my parent's dog, has adjusted to our household really well! He loves Bo and cuddles with the kitties too. He also loves my Husband, and is always excited when he gets home from work. My only complaint: he snores and sleeps by my head! Haha.
Did anyone see Grey's Anatomy last Thursday? It was the musical episode and I was crying by the very first song. Sara Ramirez, who plays Callie Torres, has a fabulous voice and has even been on Broadway. The only thing I didn't really like was it was hard to get too emotional with everyone singing. And Lexie Grey should never be allowed to sing "Breathe 3am" ever again.
My Husband's Birthday is Saturday and I am out of ideas for gifts.... anyone have any ideas???
