Netflix

Ok, I am so late on this.

I got Netflix Instant for Christmas and today I got the regular plan where they send you movies too. You have no idea how excited I am about this!!!

My dear Husband is not a movie person. He hates most movies so unfortunately, I don't end up seeing many. Plus, movie tix are expensive so I definitely don't see them in the theatre (unless it is something amazing like HP or Twilight- haha!).

I just set up my queue and here are my top picks:

  • Due Date
  • The Social Network
  • The King's Speech
  • The Black Swan
  • Date Night
  • Sex and the City 2
  • Love and Other Drugs
  • Tangled
  • Despicable Me
  • How To Train Your Dragon
  • Blue Valentine

Any other movies I should see? I also plan on getting all of the seasons of SATC, Daria, Road to Avonlea and Anne of Green Gables.

My hubby and I just watched Tangled and I LOVED IT. We just jumped on the Netflix bandwagon and it is the best thing we have EVER done. We have been watching the documentary series America and its Amazing -- I've seen most of the the movies on your list -- I think you'll enjoy them all :)

I love Netflix! I just watched Anne of Green Gables a few weeks ago while Eric was out of town. What a blast from the past. :)

oh girl you will love getting dvds in the mail - I use it to watch TV shows that aren't available on instant - almost done with Mad Men now - SO good.

Also, add 'No Strings Attached' if you haven't already seen it.

We used to have the Blockbuster one... but cancelled it because we rarely watch movies anymore.

Looks like you have some really good picks! I did see Despicable Me -- It's REALLY cute :)

I absolutely LOVE the Anne of Avonlea and Anne of Green Gables movies. I got them on VHS when I was about 8 and have ruined them! I saw there was another one about the war but I have yet to watch the movie. It's so nice to see someone else actually liking those movies, most people I know haven't heard of them!
