This week has been filled with....

PRESELL.

It is for our Clinique Bonus. If you spend $21.50 or more, you get a cute makeup bag (you always need a new one!), Superbalanced Powder Makeup with SPF 15, a Lash Doubling Mascara in black, A Different Grape lipstick, a Dark Chocolate Quickliner eyeliner, Clarifying Lotion 2 and Moisture Surge moisturizer.

And each counter has to presell a certain amount. Anyone interested in placing an order from me? I can ship anywhere!! :)

In other news, my weekend was fab. Friday and Saturday, my hubs and I went to a summer street fair with local food vendors, music, and art. I got to see some of my favorite, local law enforcement and have  a drink called Twisted Tea. It tastes just like Lipton Iced Tea... very dangerous! haha.

Yesterday was nice and lazy. I slept in til 11!!! I never do that. We had lunch at a mexican restaurant and did some shopping. I came home and made strawberry shortcake. Do ya'll make it the Bisquick way? I think it tastes best and it is SO easy. The recipe is also on the package, fyi.

Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake

1 pint of strawberries, sliced

1/4 c sugar

1 c Bisquick mix

2 tbsp sugar

1/3 c milk

Whipped topping 

Combine 1 c of Bisquick mix, 1/4 c sugar and 1/3 c milk in bowl and mix well. Place 4 spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet  for each biscuit. Bake in oven on 475 for 10 minutes.

While they are baking, cut up the pint of strawberries and add 2 tbsp of sugar and mix.

Once biscuits are done, split them in half, put in bowl, pour a little extra milk on top, add strawberry mix and your whipped cream. ENJOY! S'good!

Sweet Hubs and Movie Time!

Did I ever tell you my Hubby hates flowers? 

He hates to buy them because he think it is a waste of money. Yeah, I suppose it is but I LOVE flowers!

Well, I think he missed me when I was in Vermont because I found roses in the front seat of the car when he picked me up. Isn't that sweet? :)

Know what else I got? A new oven!!! Our old one broke about 3 weeks ago and we have been grilling and microwaving the whole time. This is the bad boy we got:

In other news, I saw The Glee Movie in 3D with my bff, Claire. I laughed, cried and had a permanent smile the entire time. So fun! It wasn't as amazing as Meghan's concert experience but a lot of fun!!!

Honey, I'm Home!

Well, hello there! :)

Yesterday I flew back home to Ohio. I spent a whole week in the wonderful state of Vermont with the most wonderful babies ever.

Ok... they aren't babies. They are 7, 5, and 3 but I was their nanny for almost 5 years and they will always be babies. Maybe just a little bigger!

We did so many fun things including multiple trips to Morse Farm in Montpelier for maple creemees (YUM!!!), cashing in tons of pennies at Coin Star and spending dollars at the dollar store, gondola rides up the mountain in Stowe, lunch and Circus Smirkus in Burlington on Church Street, The Smurfs in 3-D, making brownies, and setting up a tent and playing outside all day.

Yes, I am exhausted. Yes, those boys are kind of wild. Yes, I love and miss them SO much! Yes, I cried when I left.

The whole family is an extention of my family. I have never met more kind, generous, understanding and supportive folks.
